Gather @ 1pm & March @ 2pm

The parade route will be [Start] New Paltz Middle School (196 Main Street) → Main Street → Plattekill Avenue → Hasbrouck Park [Finish].

Official Judging by Artists & Scientists

Participants are encouraged to get as artsy and creative as possible. You may: dress up as an iconographic artist; you may decorate yourself as an art subject or famous painting; you may drive or push a sculpture of any type; make a puppet, a flag, a banner, a hat or any wearable art; create art on the fly; engage in performance art, or come up with your own unique and fantastic art activity.

The goal is a fantastic family and community event celebrating the creative spark in all of us. All ages and skill levels are welcome and encouraged.

New Paltz Flood Aid Benefit Concert

Hasbrouck Park, New Paltz, New York

Sunday, October 16th, 12pm-6pm @ Hasbrouck Park
This all day benefit concert will raise money for the people in our community hit hardest by Hurricane Irene flooding. All proceeds will go to the farmers, families, and first responders in New Paltz who were most impacted by the floods. This big musical event on Sunday, October 16th will include both local bands and musicians from afar - plugged in and acoustic. Confirmed bands to date include: Ratboy Jr., Mark Sagar and the Black Horse Riders, the Trapps, Casey Erdman and Friends, the Greyhounds, Mr. Roper, Dziubecko, Connor Kennedy Band, Hector Tejada (a local farmer who lost all of his crops), the Bow Thayer Band, Patrick Carlin (George Carlin's Brother), Alexis P. Suter, and Flood Aid All Stars: Larry Campbell (Levon Helm's Band), Teresa Williams, Steven Bernstein (of Levon Helm’s Band), Randy Ciarlante (of The Band), Byron Isaacs(of Levon Helm’s Band & Ollabelle), Jim Wieder (of The Band & Levon Helm’s Band), Vito Petrocitto, Erik Lawrence and much, much more.
